Services
Birth Support Package
As your birth doula I will provide evidence-based information, emotional, physical, and non- judgmental support. Birth package comes with:

Two in-home prenatal visits.

First meeting a birth preference planning for 2 hours will be scheduled around 33 weeks

Second meeting a comfort technique lasting 1 hour around 37 weeks.

Assistance in preparing your birth plan.
-
Phone and email support throughout pregnancy.
-
18 hours in hospital/home birth support.
-
Initial breastfeeding support after birth and during postpartum visit
-
1 hour postpartum follow up within two weeks after birth.
Postpartum Support
For day time, I do a minimum of 4 hours, and for night time a minimum 8 hours.
Both shifts routine includes:

Newborn care, feeding, soothing, swaddling, hygienic care, and sleeping guidance.

Provide evidence-based information on breastfeeding, pumping, and formula feeding.

Share tips on developing a strong parent-infant bond to help you and your baby get off to the best start, while giving you the time you need to rest and recover from birth.

Running errands for the family – grocery shopping
Childbirth Class
I offer three hours in home childbirth class which helps equip new parents with valuable knowledge and tools to navigate birthing process with confidence. The class covers different key topics which includes:

How to prepare your body for labor.

Anatomy and physiology in childbirth.

Different stages of labor and what to expect at each stage
-
Different comfort measures technique e.g., breathing, massage, walking, taking a bath, hypnotherapy etc.

Common labor interventions.

Different available pain medications.
Lactation Class
I offer a three-hour in-home lactation class to equip new parents with the knowledge they need to have a successful breastfeeding journey. The class covers different topics, which includes:

Anatomy and physiology of human milk production.

Importance of breastfeeding within the first hour after birth.
-
Importance of colostrum also known as first milk and the importance roles it plays on building your baby immune system.

Importance of good latching.
Newborn Care Class
I offer three hours in home Newborn Care Class that teaches everything parents should know from the moment baby is born to 6 months of age. Some of the most important topics the class covers are:

Infant health, safety, and wellness.

Infant characteristic and development.

Establishing a daily routine.

Breastfeeding or bottle feeding.

Sleep stages and gentle sleeping training

Essential of newborn care

Bathing baby- sponge vs tub bath
